I was up in Chico this past weekend and a friend of mine told me about Shine Dance Lounge in SF. The thing that caught my attention was my friend’s description of their "online photo booth thingy". According to News.com:
"It’s an old-fashioned booth where people can get as candid and silly
as they want (particularly after a few drinks), but it also ensures
that the results can be seen by all immediately… (the photo booth) takes four photos and
automatically posts them in the traditional vertical strip mode to the popular Flickr photo sharing Web site"
What a brilliant way to market a club! More clubs should consider doing this. You can check out the Flickr photostream (sample at left) or read the ShineSF blog for more.
I’m definitely going to check it out next time I’m up in the city.
